Hi everyone! I just found out about this website and have
been having so much fun reading everyone's updates on their
lives after Parkettes. Oh, where to begin. I quit in 6th grade
and since our district did not have a gymnastics team, moved
on to softball, field hockey, and track....Parkettes came
in handy when doing the hurdles. It was funny to realize I
was often competing against other ex-Parkettes! I played field
hockey at Bucknell University where I got my teaching degree
and also met my husband, Jeff Bryan. We got married in Stone
Harbor, NJ (some of you might have even seen our wedding in
The Knot Magazine...Phila edition) and moved to West Chester,
PA where we still live today. I just resigned from teaching
and am staying at home with our spunky 18 month old daughter,
Paige. She certainly could use some tumbling classes at Parkettes....she
is already a monkey and I now can see why my parents started
me in gymnastics at such a young age. I look forward to catching
up with more of you now that I have found this great alumni
page!
