Hi! I started out as a Parkette back in 1972! Back then the Parkettes were located in the basement of an old church in Allentown. I spent a number of years with the Parkettes when I moved out of state in the 5th grade. I continued on in gymnastics but never at the level in which I was at the Parkettes. I competed in high school gymnastics in Troy Michigan where we won the State competition in 1981 and were finalists again in 1982. I went on to coach gymnastics at a private club here in Michigan as well as going back to my high school to coach for two years. Right now, I am a stay at home mom with one little boy (age 9) who plays ice hockey. I too have taken up hockey and have coached his hockey team for 3 years. I'd love to hear from Shawn Pepperell that remember me. I was very good friends with Sandy Worth and I remember my favorite "coach" was Jody Yokum.
