Wow, where do I begin? After Graduating from Penn State in 1998, I had the amazing experience of teaching white water canoe expeditions, backpacking and rock climbing to troubled youth for Outward Bound in Manitoba Canada, Ely Minnesota, Texas and Mexico. It was very empowering but Andy(future husband) and I decided to leave so we could spend more time with each other. We moved to Alaska where I coached at Anchorage gymnastics. Since it was hard for Andy and I to stay in one place, we then moved to Vermont where we married in Sept of 2000. We became caretakers on a large horse estate and I was a teacher's assistant for kids with special needs at the middle school in Woodstock, VT. After 4 years we became antsy again and moved to Nantucket, Ma. I became a children's program coordinator for the Nantucket Community School and coordinated an after school program for the Elementary kids on the island. I also coach the High school varsity gymnastics team. We now have 2 beautiful children. Luna just turned 3 last week and River was born in Aug of 2007 so he is 7 months. They are so amazing! After almost 5 years, we are now looking to move again but not sure where our next adventure will take us. I cant believe how time flies. I would love to reconnect with friends from my Parkette days.
