We are excited to welcome you and your gymnast to the Brian Babcock Invitational hosted by Parkettes. Please see below for some important information.
Admission
Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, military and children 6 and up. We will also have a weekend rate: $30
for adults and $25 for seniors, military and children 6 and up.
Save time in line by purchasing your tickets in advance by scanning the QR code. Tickets are good for the entire
day. Gymnasts and coaches do not need to wait in the ticket line. They can go straight to the gymnasts/coaches
registration area.
Parking
Please see the attached map for where you should park. Please note that the lot next to the gym is for judges and coaches. Families and friends should park in the lot across the street or in the lot on Martin Luther King and Lehigh
Street (Building 21).
Concessions, Candy Grams and Shout Outs
For your convenience, we will have two food trucks at the event: Koffee Time and Buns on the Go. While Koffee Time will make sure you are energized during the meet, Buns on the Go will be specializing in things like empanadas and chicken sandwiches. There is also a small concession stand inside where you can purchase drinks and snacks as well as a store where you can purchase tape, GK apparel, candy grams and shout outs to cheer on yourgymnasts and announced during their session.
Team Cup Session
All registered gymnasts are invited to attend our electrifying team cup session on Friday evening where some of the region’s top gymnasts will be competing. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by to watch some incrediblegymnastics. Complimentary for registered gymnasts.
History
The Parkettes is pleased to invite you to participate in our Annual Brian Babcock Memorial Invitational to be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 thru Sunday, February 1, 2026. Formerly known as the Parkettes Boys Invitational which started over 50 years ago, this meet has developed into one of the largest and most prestigious men’s invitationals in the country, highlighting gymnasts from across the country and abroad. It was renamed in 1999 to honor the life of Brian Babcock, former USA National Champion and Parkettes Men’s Program Director. His love for the sport and support of the children who participate in it will always be remembered. As we enter the year 2026, let’s remember his legacy and pass it on to our gymnasts.
Who Can Participate
All USAG Men’s Competitive Levels 3-10 are invited to participate. The meet will be held in our 32,000 sq. ft. Parkette facility. All competition and warm-up equipment is American Athletic Inc (AAI). Competition floor exercise is Stratum/Palmer Power Spring. You may bring your own board. It must meet USAG regulations.
Awards
Specially designed “Brian Babcock Invitational” plaque will be given to the individual all-around champion, and Individual and All-Around medals will meet or exceed those recommended in the Men’s Development Program rules and policies.
Junior, Senior and Elite Team Cup
The Parkettes is proud to host the Junior, Senior and Elite Team Cup competitions on Friday, and we look forward to an electrifying and competitive evening. Gyms will be able to compete for trophies and cash prizes for their gym. The Austin Zalik Trophy will be presented to the most spirited team.
- Junior Cup members must be 12+ years of age. Level 7 Men’s Development Program rules apply.
- Senior Cup members must be 14-16 years of age. Level 9 Men’s Development Program rules apply.
- Elite Cup members must be 14-18 years of age. Level 10 Men’s Development Program rules will apply.
Each team can be composed of no more than 6 gymnasts with 4 competing per event and the top three scores counting towards the final team score. The entry fee is $300 per team. Gyms may enter as many teams as they wish. Gyms with less than the required 3 gymnasts to form a team can still compete in the cup. Email bbimeetdirector@gmail.com for more information.
How to Enter
To enter, complete the Online Registration on the USAG website. Send completed registration form and check made payable to Parkettes to: Attn: BBI Meet Director, 401 Martin Luther King Jr Drive, Allentown, PA 18102. Please note that all returned checks will incur a $30 return check fee.
Take advantage of the early bird special. Register and pay by December 1, 2025 for a $15 discount per gymnast registered - $130. All gymnasts registered by December 1, 2025 will receive meet swag. After that, a $15 late fee will be assessed and meet swag is not guaranteed - $145. Please contact the meet director at bbimeetdirector@gmail.com
